If you stumble upon a TikTok video that you absolutely love and wish to keep, here’s a handy solution: the “Save video” feature.
The “Save video” functionality allows you to store your preferred TikToks directly in your phone’s photo library. This way, you can access the TikTok even if it’s removed by the user or deleted by TikTok. Moreover, this process enables you to share the video with friends who might not be using the TikTok app.
Now, TikTok allows you to reset your For You page.
It’s important to note that not all TikToks can be saved—this depends on the user’s permissions. If the “Save video” option isn’t available, it means the TikTok user hasn’t enabled downloads for their account. In such cases, screen recording the TikTok becomes an alternative.
Below are the steps to save a TikTok video:
How to Download a TikTok Video
- 2 minutes
- Smartphone
- TikTok app
Step 1: Open the TikTok App.
Step 2: Navigate to the video you want to save.
Step 3: Tap the white “Share” arrow on the right side of the screen.
