Keeper, a tax service catering to freelancers, discovered that OnlyFans had the highest median income among the top side hustles. The median annual income on OnlyFans was found to be $4,995, surpassing other popular side hustles. For instance, DoorDash, the most common side hustle, had a median annual income of $2,636.

According to Keeper, delivery side hustles were the most prevalent, with DoorDash, Uber, and Instacart ranking as the top 3 side gigs. Among these, Instacart stood out, boasting a median annual income of $3,445.

It’s essential to remember that this data represents median income, not average income. While OnlyFans may offer significant earning potential, there might be individuals who earn substantially more or none at all. In contrast, delivery side hustles typically guarantee some income as long as you put in the work. OnlyFans is primarily a subscription-based platform for creators of adult content, which might explain its higher earning potential compared to delivery services like DoorDash.

Keeper surveyed 2,200 users with both W-2 and 1099 income, indicating they are both employed by a company and self-employed, engaging in a side hustle.
